Leighton Meester

It seems like yesterday that Leighton Meester was winning over our hearts every Monday as Queen Bee of Manhattan's social scene, Blair Waldorf. After the show wrapped, she had a successful run on Broadway with James Franco and Chris Dowd in Of Mice and Men.It seems that Meester can do no wrong and now she is ready to reintroduce herself for the third time - a musical muse.

Her debut album, Heartstrings, dropped last week and dives right into singer/songwriter waters. The album has got a contemporary folk vibe with a gentle and refreshing approach. She reminds me a lot of Mandy Moore, which is quiet a lovely comparison to be stacked up against if you ask me. This nine track record is great for a crisp Fall day and one that I will be keeping on repeat for quite some time. Take a listen to my top three songs. Can Blair Waldorf hack it in the music scene?
