I first fell in love with Jack Antonoff before he started dating Lena Dunham and before he started making sweet guitar sounds for the band Fun. It was love at first site with his mopped jew fro, when he used to be the frontman for a band called Steel Train. They were a rock band from New Jersey and who would frequently tour with a band from my High School called Hellogoodbye.
Ladies, be prepared to fall in love all over again with Antonoff's side project titled Bleachers. The debut single hit the interwebs last week and I can't stop listening. "I Wanna Get Better" is a repeat-worthy indie anthem that reminds me of sunshine vibes and bicycle weather. I am keeping my fingers crossed the album has a similar aesthetic, which will drop later this Spring.
