I am a sucker for a good pop song, especially any pop song sung by Katy Perry. Her latest single "Roar", which is sure to be her next number 1 single, is the next best thing out there. Her lyrics are a statement of personal victory and independence. She can overcome anything that has tried to mess with her happiness. It is definitely art imitating life. Perry's had quite some hardships over the past few years, between her divorce from Russell Brand and on-again-off-again relationship with John Mayer - she is ready to celebrate life.
