Horoscopes for May 2015

'Nsync once said "It's gonna be May," and look here it is. I always look forward to a fresh start as soon as a new month hits. AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18)

This has all the makings of a big month for you. Both your career and home sectors, located at the very top and bottom of your chart, will be brilliantly lit, and these are prime houses of a chart. Let's have a look at the opportunities that you will have this month, because they will be plentiful! On May 3 you will have a full moon in your house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame, marking an important moment of 2015 for your career. This will be a Sunday, but all full moons have a plus or minus four days of influence, so you may feel this on Friday, May 1, or during the following week May 4 to 7.

PISCES (Feb 19-March 20)

You have been very busy creating all sorts of documents, whether proposals, reports, a screenplay, manuscripts, letters, or advertising copywriting, or you may have been creating legal briefs, business analyses, or other types of communications, and this month will bring a need to do even more. Your ability to transmit your thoughts clearly on paper and to negotiate fairly will make your success this month.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

As the month takes off, you are thinking about your finances, paying bills, and getting all the financial tasks you need to do off your desk, including taxes if you asked for an extension. While you are into looking at calculations, review all your insurance needs to make sure you have coverage for your evolving needs. Also, check in with your broker to see how your retirement account is performing. If you don't have a retirement account, you can open one on May 6 when Pluto will work with the Sun, and no matter how small an amount you put in, it will continue to grow. 

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Your partner will be your full focus at the full moon, May 3 in Scorpio, 13 degrees, as the month opens. This full moon will be in lovely angle to graceful Neptune, so you may be invited to a beautiful party or have a very romantic episode with your one-and-only. Neptune will be in an ideal angle too, bringing inspiration and in a beautifully romantic vibe. You may promise to be exclusive, or get engaged or married. Mercury will be opposite Saturn, so you'll mean what you say - you won't change your mind. Saturn urges long-term planning, and certainly, you will be thinking about your life in years ahead.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)

One of the most exciting developments about May will bring the entry of energetic Mars to Gemini, May 11 through June 24. Having Mars in your sign is always an advantage, for Mars will make you passionate, courageous, energetic, determined, and sexy too. The last time you saw Mars in Gemini, it was in June through the first half of July 2013, quite a long time ago.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)

You have been under a lot of pressure lately, and your need for freedom, especially in your career, will be strong. For too long you've felt tied down with obligations at home and in your career, for planets and the eclipses have been limiting your movements. You are ready to break free of those bonds of restriction to create a better quality of life. You have not had the time to nurture your private life so far this year, but this month that will change. May brings with it dazzling social and romantic opportunities.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22)

For a long time, a question involving a home or family situation, possibly involving your residence or care for a parent, stymied you. You were in charge of the situation, but the answer was eluding you, for it was tricky and complex, with no easy answer. You may have been focused with this home or family question as early as October 2012 or as late as sometime in 2014. Saturn finally left Scorpio and your home and family sector on December 23, 2014.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22)

Life is about to get exciting, dear Virgo! Your career is about to show amazing gains, with opportunities about to drop out of the sky in May and June. It won't be all work and no play for you either because opportunities to travel will be plentiful, as well as lots of social time with friends. Dear Virgo, it looks like you have the ideal month to enjoy to the fullest.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22)

This month will all about getting your finances in order. In the first three weeks of May, you will be a productive whiz, powering through paperwork and getting things done in half the time it would usually take you. Let's look at the details, starting at the top of the month.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21)

This full moon, the only one in Scorpio this year, is friendly, for it will receive a beautiful vibration from Neptune. SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21)

This will be a highly productive month, for most of the planetary activity is focused in two places: on current projects, and on partners whom you will be working with in a serious, committed way.The full moon, May 3, will shine in a very private part of your chart associated with rest and healing. Take things slow, and don't push yourself at this time. All full moons are influential for four days after they appear, and at least two days prior, so keep that timing in mind. The minute the month takes off, you will have a full moon in Scorpio 13 degrees, May 3, likely to bring an event over the May 2-3 weekend that will put you in the center of many smiling people. Neptune will bring silvery beams to this full moon, so it's likely the setting will be romantic and very graceful, with flowers, music, fine food - it looks like an exciting dress-up affair.
