From The Archives

Over the long holiday weekend, I popped into a few stores to check out any sales and to potentially get a jump start on my Spring wardrobe. One of the stores I checked out was the Gap and received a rush of nostalgia when spotting a handful of merchandise. If you thought normcore left the scene last year, well friends think again.

This season, the Gap, America's favorite iconic brand has launched a limited-edition collection for men and women featuring iconic styles from the '90s. Silhouettes range from bodysuits, reverse fit and easy fit denim, pleated khakis and the timeless pocket tees. My elementary school self just got super jazzed and really excited.

To celebrate the launch, Gap collaborated with director Kevin Calero to create a series of commercials titled "Generation Gap" playing homage to everyone's favorite Gap ads of the '90s with references to "Mellow Yellow," "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" but updated with a fun and modern twist. This capsule is a celebration of the next generation as they reimagine the iconic Gap looks in their own unique style and ways.

Check out the commercial below and then head over to Gap and get your wallet ready.
